When my husband and I decided it was time to sell our first home, we knew there were only two people we
would trust to assist us with such a massive undertaking – Caterina Watson and Joe Sparacino, the dynamic
father-daughter duo. Having raised a family, worked, and been active in many communities in Montgomery
County, Joe is as knowledgeable about the area as they come. Caterina, being Joe’s daughter and thus being
raised in and now raising her own family in the county, has her finger on the pulse. From the moment we
contacted them, we knew we were in professional and more-than-capable hands.
Caterina and Joe patiently walked us through the process of selling our home one step – one question and
answer – at a time. They prepped us on the best ways to ready our home for listing and advised us on how to do
so in a home with young children; they gave us guidance on which areas and in what order we should focus our
attention; they explained the market and suggested a best course of action based on our desired timeline. In
short, they listened to our needs, and they met each one. They were available at every turn, proactive in their
approach to listing our house, and always quick to respond to our questions and requests. To boot, there is
something special (and often entertaining) in watching a father-daughter team in action.
With all that said, perhaps most impressive was Caterina’s ability to “call” how our sale would go, down to the
details. Based on her knowledge of the market and extensive experience working in our area, she made a
recommendation for a starting list price and a listing date, as well as educated guesses as to when we might
expect offers and what those offers might be. She hit the mark with each one!
It bears mentioning that both Caterina and Joe have large, active families, and therefore busy family lives. Still,
they treated us as though our priorities were their priorities, which made an impact on us. We saw it as a
testament to their commitment, not only to their jobs, but also – and more so – to us…their clients.
We could not have asked for or imagined a smoother transition (or transaction!) during what otherwise could
have been a very stressful and chaotic time. Knowing we were in good hands with Caterina and Joe as our listing
agents helped us to focus on our children and our to-do lists while they did what they do best – work with and
on behalf of their clients to make every home a happy one, no matter what stage of the buying or selling
process. Thanks to them, our memories of our first home ended as happily as they began.

Born and raised in Montgomery County, MD, I know the area and the market here quite well. I grew up in Silver Spring, lived in Gaithersburg for nine years, and currently reside in Rockville with my husband and our five children. I love our beautiful state of Maryland. We truly experience every season here. There are certain roads that I love to drive along in each season to experience the autumnal leaves, the empty winter branches, the blooming cherry blossom trees, and the green rebirth that returns in summer.
